Dollhouse 4
Risograph prints on paper, poplar wood, and risograph-printed saddle-stitched books. 2025.

The objects assembled within the dollhouse are print reproductions of the very same doll furniture from Avery’s mother’s childhood dollhouse. Young Avery coveted this doll furniture and meticulously arranged it within the original dollhouse during her family’s frequent stays in her mother’s childhood house on a small island off the coast of Washington state. The obsessive arranging was the best part. The books occupying the leftmost room on the second floor are collations of audio transcriptions from video footage of Avery from the ages of one to five.
